The magnificent scenery of the West coast can be enjoyed in many ways: from the air; from a cruise boat on the river; a walking track; or by vehicle. Visitors can choose from a wide range of activities including
chartered fishing trips, seaplane tours, a river cruise, jet boat rides, four wheel drive adventures,
bushwalking, and even the longest-running theatre production in Tasmania.

World Heritage Cruises
Embark on a Morning Heritage Cruise on Macquarie Harbour to visit Hells Gates and a harbour fish farm, before stopping at Sarah Island for a dramatic guided tour around the ruins of the penal settlement.
From Sarah Island, cruise up the Gordon River where you can disembark at Heritage Landing for a walk through the temperate rainforest.
Wrap up this 'Day to Remember' with a tour of an operating Huon Pine Sawmill on your return to
Strahan.
In summer, other options include an Afternoon Heritage Cruise (with sunset included) and a Morning Express Cruise.

Gordon River Cruises
This cruise on the Gordon River includes a visit
to Hells Gates and a fish farm in Macquarie Harbour, before cruising up the Gordon River where passengers stop at Heritage Landing for a walk through the temperate rainforest. A stop at Sarah Island, for a dramatic guided tour around the ruins of the penal settlement, completes the day.
Available is allocated seating on the Captain's Premier Upper Deck with a buffet lunch and tastings of Tasmanian Wines & cheeses.
